New for '22

01-30-22

Greetings valued customers,

CODIT Tree Care is excited to announce that for 2022 we will be offering disease and pest management treatment options to our customers. With Bur Oak Blight running rampant around the Lakes and Emerald Ash Borer starting to show it's ugly face in the area, we wanted to give out customers every option possible to help their trees thrive.

  • With the increase in these tree killing organisms in the Lakes region, we felt that it was a must to offer a one-stop shop for all of your tree care needs. The Iowa Great Lakes is a very special area with a lot of beautiful trees that offer a tremendous amount of value to the Lakes area. Oak Blight has already been doing a number on the oak trees and once EAB has fully saturated this region, it will completely destroy all the Ash trees. EAB has been found in surrounding counties and experts believe that once it's within 60 miles, it's time to start taking it seriously and thinking about how to combat this nasty invasive species. It can take up to 5 years to notice damage created by EAB and by that time it's way too late.

For the 2022 season, to celebrate these new services, we will be offering a 15% discount for ALL tree care services with the purchase of any disease or pest management treatment. If interested we will be scheduling Oak tree treatments (for BOB) for Spring and Fall, and then Ash tree treatments (for EAB) can be done at any time during the season. We will be using the Arborjet system and products for their proven effectiveness. Although not all trees will make it and some will succumb to these invasive species, we believe that by offering this service we can help save as many trees as possible.

We at CODIT tree care took time out of our busy season to go down to Cedar Rapids and help the people from the damage of Derecho. I have never in my life seen such devastation. Cedar Rapids will never be the same.

Sometimes it takes every possible option to get your job done. This large cottonwood was surrounded by buildings and powerlines so we brought in a crane.

  • New Tree Service / Tree Care / arborist in Iowa Great Lakes / Okoboji / Spirit Lake area

    03-24-19

Hello Everyone.  My Name is Jon Bueltel and I am here to tell you about something that I'm very passionate about... Caring for YOUR trees!

I first realized my love for trees as a young boy in NW Iowa marveling at the majesty of these towering giants. I decided to become an arborist practically before I even had heard the term.  During my training, I learned the techniques of C.O.D.I.T. and knew immediately that CODIT would simply have to be the name of my tree care business.

Now I am available to bring my expertise to you so I can help you plan and maintain your own canopy of trees on your property. Just ask!!
